Relative in hospital with covid pneumonia. Last day of remdesevir use tomorrow and then only dealing with inflammation. High flow O2 70% environment decreased to 40% environment. Has anyone dealt with this before? Please any advice is helpful. This seems like a good sign but would like to know about similar experiences thank you.

When I was discharged from hospital last year after going through a rough case of covid, I was prescribed an oxygen concentrator machine for home use. It could be setup to provide between 0 And 5 (possibly more) liters of oxygen.
For the inflammation, you may also want to consider turmeric supplements encapsulated.
Remdesivir has a statistically high chance of damaging the patients kidneys and liver. I am not certain how the timeline works for all cases, but generally, the kidney shutdown seems to be fairly acute and within a short timespan of the original coarse of treatment. The liver damage is made apparent within the first year after coarse of treatment.
I hope your loved one pulls through with minimal to no side effects from the hospital administered "treatment protocol".
I don't actually know one way or another on whether NAC or Glutathione would heal the liver.
I have heard that both are used by your body to support and increase your immune system function. However, I don't know whether that is the only way it helps in the body. It may have other impacts, but I'm just not knowledgeable enough on those two chemical supplements to give further comment.
Having gone through Covid myself, I do know that reducing inflammation, which often has to do with your immune response to the infection your body is trying to clear, was basically what I was dealing with. I had declined remdesivir and received IV dexamethasone, IV antibiotics (it was probably vancomycin), fluids, IV vitamin C, and zinc (oral) and oxygen generally at 3 liters. I also have moderate asthma, and my sats were mid 80s off oxygen when they were working on my discharge orders. That's why I received an oxygen concentrator machine which I used at home for about a month after discharge.
I imagine that NAC will help the liver but Remdesivir damages kidneys.
