If the doctor is any good they wouldn’t. They would recognize medicine is part science part art. There are way more gray zones than black and white situations. Experience, training, morals all play a role and may lead to different treatment plans. Doctors should know a lot of times they are just making an educated guess and that’s what it is...a guess....which is very open to being wrong.
