Yeah fucking right.
So today is the day of my daughters 2nd birthday party. There will be around 20 people coming over to my house, a diverse group with differing opinions politically, but around 85% of the people are what I guess you could call "pro vaccine." Also ranging from "orange man super bad," to "I don't like him he's a dickhead" as far as PDJT is concerned. Luckily I also have a small handful of friendlys coming over. Today is about my daughter and I want everyone to have a good time so I have to be subtle about my red pills. For example leaving my dual monitors desktops with epic trump pics. Or I guess my bookshelf as a whole. Trump hat sitting out etc. etc.
Well the other night I came down with a cold, and what timing!!!! I feel better today but I cant wait to cough really loud when the house is half full of vaccine worshippers. I also cant wait until they ask me if I got tested. Going to be a good Saturday ladies and gents.
Any awesome Pics anyone would suggest for my desktops?
It is antisocial to be sick in public with a communicable disease, and it's an example of 'personal responsibility' to stay home under these circumstances. Most people do have friends who will shop for them, or these days you have "instacart" and other similar services. And if you are totally alone, then fine - go shopping, but if you suddenly start coughing, try to get outside and/or away from others, since you are spreading germs.
Forget about "Covid" and the big debate about how it spreads; coughs, colds, and flu are all communicable and it's common decency to stay out of public spaces when you are contagious.
I don't think I'm 'better' than this person; I don't see them as 'beneath' me; I'm expecting them to take the same responsibility I would take myself.
Exactly you expect them to take the same responsibility that YOU would take! The basis for your analysis is on what you would do. So it’s all about you.
Also the store that I was in was a Safeway in Kauai. this place is not have the same services as most places in America, and when I was here last time I couldn’t even get an Uber driver to take me 5 miles.
If you’re lucky the stores barely stay open till 9 o’clock at night, and there’s only grocery stores in a few locations.
Trying to get anything done here at all, even when you’re well, it’s a big pain in the ass. There’s one Costco on the entire island, so your assumption that everything that’s available out in the real world is available to this person is false.
I will never agree with you, so we don’t need to have this conversation any further.
