Human love and adoration is out of choice and free will, not because of any type of programming (there's another more appropriate word for this, but I cannot remember it at the moment) like we find in animals. Yes, dogs are nice and wonderful creatures, but their love and beauty cannot compare to that of a human being. Human compassion, capacity to love and to feel emotion are far beyond that of any animal...but because of sin (a byproduct of human free will and choice) that same compassion, capacity to love and feel emotion can and does indeed make people do really evil, wicked things.
