I work in supply chain and do a lot of traveling for work. The companies I work with just assume that I'm fully vaxxed for some reason and I don't bother saying anything about it.
Today I was at a company that manages supplies for about 25% of hospitals in the US. I was having a conversation with the VP of Marketing for the company and she told me with major delight that they were going to be firing the anti-vaxxers a week from tomorrow. I asked her what percentage of the company that made up, and she said it was around 3% of employees - they employ several hundred thousand people nationwide.
I asked if they had a plan to replace that many people, it was thousands, and she said they have been quietly accepting applications and interviewing people and will be up and running with new hires within about 15 days.
I was kind of shocked by this, she said they'd been given names of people suspected of not being vaxxed weeks ago and were prepared. She said they've also been surveying employees and claim that the majority of them are more than happy that people will be getting cut.
I'm sure the surveying part is a total lie, you'd be clueing in those getting let go. But either way, I thought I'd share what I learned. I also emailed PV to see what they say.
Honestly 3% seems low, actually it is scary.
Hopefully the lady has her numbers wrong. I wonder if she hired a 3rd party to analyze social media or something to that effect? Maybe this is one of the early indicators of how they planned to use social credit scores?
OP thanks for sharing the info regardless. I always appreciate this sort of morning coffee info.
No, this was after a bunch of emails were sent around asking flat out to provide evidence by a certain date, the 3% were the people that didn't provide evidence.
I was shocked it was so low, it's a large midwest town.
