I knew Vernon 15 years ago. He did zoning application presentations for subdivision projects we were looking at in Fulton and/or DeKalb. He carried a lot of weight and respect in the black community. I had a positive impression of him from our business dealings, mainly because he got the job done. Really disappointing to learn these things about him. Not really surprised though.
