A reminder: people were imprisoned, tortured, and even burned at the stake for just suggesting that the Earth wasn't the center of the universe.

Changing paradigms is VERY hard for most people, even when big power or monetary stakes aren't on the table.

Those few who are more nimble intellectually are the ones who have always moved Mankind forward.
