NYC is an infection on NJ. I have lived all around the state. I live in Sussex county now and no one wants Murphy here. Once you get 25 miles away from the city the state is red.

Correct.

Philly has the same effect down here. The entire shoreline is Trump all day. So is most of south Jersey. I think NY has a bigger reach than 25 miles though.
