The company you keep. The article link provided states that Thiel’s and Karp’s politics were at opposite sides, Thiel’s being for Trump.

That doesn’t negate the fact that he cofounded a CIA-based company that does business with, for example, the government and the healthcare industry and who’s billionaire CEO and cofounder is an avowed socialist who chats with John Podesta and supports Hillary.

Also see u/Annie99 comment below. There are just some things that are “off” here, hence the wondering if Thiel is playing both sides.
