if you try to talk to a vaccinated person about this they just look at you with a blank stare, they are in complete denial.

I don't know that it is denial I would imagine it's like waiting in the hallway before entering the room to be strapped to execution table before a lethal injection. You know you are about to die but all hope has left and you have accepted your fate.
