True, but unfortunately this conviction carries a much lesser sentence than rape does. So he may spend some time in jail, but not as much as he would on a full rape charge. I bet if sexual assault came with a sentence of being castrated, fewer guys would try it. Just a theory. Kind of like cutting off the hands of thieves...
Actually I don't know either, but I certainly hope they come forward and press charges. This seems like a based judge - calling him a boy in a skirt was priceless. Where I live (I work for a criminal defense attorney), if the same defendant is charged with another crime subsequent to their first, they keep all their cases before the same judge. It saves time and they combine pretrials and other hearings so their docket is more easily managed, plus they can keep better track of multiple violations by the same offender so sentencing reflects their offenses properly. I would hope the same goes for Loudoun County, so the same based judge can pop him for the 2nd offense.
I believe there are different sealing/expungement laws in each county of each state, so that's hard to say, but I do know in some jurisdictions, violent crimes are not wiped off the record once an offender turns 18. Petty theft, vandalism, things like that are certain to disappear once the defendant reaches the age of majority. This may be different, and honestly I hope it is - this little fucker needs to be taught a lesson.
But it was termed "non-consensual" not rape. Idiots.
Meh. A conviction is a conviction.

There is a second victim. I haven't really followed it what's up with that?

I am ignorant of law, but if said transgender rapist is 16 and tried as a juvenile, won't he be out in just a few years with NO record?
