This would be a lot more tolerable, honestly, if people's mortgages, credit histories, car payments, etc. weren't affected. This is going to ruin a lot of people. Not just inconvenience (downsize car, stay home more, etc.) but ruin if you're talking about living arrangements and transportation. Especially, 2-career (needs both incomes) families in urban areas. I don't see rural areas (anecdotally speaking) enforcing these mandates as heavily. Regardless, those who have some suspicion of this mandate hitting their employer need to start looking at self-employment, reselling online, under the table employment, etc.
