Psalms 113:3 - From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the LORD'S name is to be praised.
We know the sun doesn't literally rise and fall, it is the earth rotating around the sun which makes it appear as though it is raising and falling.
This is similar to the sun setting in "mud" when the sun appears to fall, it falls into something... else you would always see the sun. So it can appear to set into the mud.
If taken literally you are correct, the sun doesn't set into a pool of mud just as the sun does not rise or fall.
Choose one: Either both are false since the sun does not rise or fall, and the sun doesn't set in mud, OR neither are wrong on this example and they should not be taken literally since a literal reading would make both false.
Psalms 113:3 - From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the LORD'S name is to be praised.
Sigh... I never said the word mud was in there or not...
Oh is that what you are doing?
