'pacific' means peaceful. Its never been a name that been particularly well suited to that stretch of water.. but think it will be increasingly less so in the near future.
So the burning question is what would be unloaded from this style of (light?) truck to fast-attack subs and be done with unusual secrecy and rapidity... no shore leave.
Doesnt sound like munitions (torpedos, missiles) since anything with explosives probably would merit a lot of additional security around the unloading, and specialized vehicles to transport the things safely. Mines? Amphibious troop insertion type rigs?
Could simply be something as mundane as provisions, medical supplies, all the things that need a refurb after extended time at sea. But with a time constraint thats very atypical.
