Our work is now requiring a vaccine card as proof. I was thinking of uploading a fake one - but I wouldn't be surprised if they scrutinized some cards to see if they were fake.
This makes me wonder. Is there any way for them to verify a vaccine card is fake, if the lot number + location + shot name are correct?
I don't imagine they would call each place and ask if the person took the shot. But I am wondering if they can easily electornically verify it with the state, for ex. Is there digital storage, attached to an SSN for example?
Some places check against a state register.
This is what I want to avoid. They could automate a process, assign a few employees, and burn through about 500 cards a day. In a few weeks they could confidently verify all cards with minimal cost/effort (this is a large company).
My research suggests fake vaccine card is bunk then, because vaccine providers do submit information to a state database, so companies can just check the registers...
I can tell you that we haven't been asked to submit any info to the county or state in Florida.
If you 'tip' the technician they would give you both a paper copy and update the digital system.
Understand that you're just delaying this fight: You know they will insist on boosters down the road. Do you want to fight it now or later? Or hope you can give another $100 tip?
Why not make your stand now as opposed to when you're due for a booster? Easy for me to say as I'm self-employed and I don't know your circumstance.
These are likely death shots for those who don't end up with saline. Every life is important including yours. Don't let them near you with that poison.
