I don't quite understand how they are necessarily bad or evil. Their stated and secret missions are the destruction of monarchies and theocracies. USA shit, revolutionary era humanism, it's awesome sign me up.

Of course ghouls got a hold of it i suppose. Sheriff's departments aren't necessarily evil either but they are now anyway.
