Isn't mecca just the burial place of moham? it couldn't exist before he died.. And the black cube in the middle is his tomb, allegedly there is a big meteorite or black rock inside..

No. The earliest mosques point to a different spot, not mecca, way north. If I am not mistaken, it would be Petra or something around there.

And besides, archeological digs are problematic.
