You know, to prescribe. It means, what their plan is.

Medicine/Medical. to designate or order the use of (a medicine, remedy, treatment, etc.).
That was a very Reddit-like answer. Instead of being pompous in your responses in the future, try talking to someone like they are a human being and just say what you mean. No need to be condescending and add dictionary shit to your response.
Example:
Hey LRAD, I think OP meant his doctor prescribed a protocol to him. Not necessarily a physical written prescription like you may be used to.
