I gave myself a dose of ivermectin to test it under control conditions to see if there are any side effects... and everything is good. The paste is pure white and tastes edible.
I've got almost three boxes in the fridge and each box contains about 8 doses.
I look forward to using it whenever I get the first sign of the sniffles or take it twice a year as a general prophylactic.
Also my wife took one dose on empty stomach before bed and had sudden, no-warning diarrhea all night long, up and down with lots of cleaning up to do afterward
Be advised this could occur if you take ivermectin.
Nothing worse than the 3am spray painting of the toilet! That, IMHO, sounds like it could be a good thing, killing off a bunch of bad stuff. But that is purely an assumption.
I am going to find out, I have had a craving for some road apple flavored Vaseline horsey sauce for a few weeks, I am going to go on it tomorrow, to try it out. If I am lucky, I might end up freckling the bowl myself.

Be careful storing in the fridge, I believe I read that it is not to be stored there but in a cool dark location (meaning fridge might be too cold).
I purchased Equimec and the ONLY instructions are printed on the outside of the box, which states in full:
It doesn't mention any lower limit, so I think refrigeration is fine.
Thank you to everyone who warned and questioned me: it was worth checking.
Our boxes of Durvet do not say to refrigerate

Thanks for the warning. I'll keep far away from your wife in case she starts spraying diarrhea again.
Oh, there's more and better reasons than that, pal. Trust me.
Sweetie pie. Diehard patriot. But iron-toothed crocodilenado if ticked off.
