As for Mars, that would work for a big underground facility but I don't know the logistical challenges of getting that kind of thing set up on Mars. I doubt it would be easy. Solar, while not better, would likely be easier and cheaper to send to Mars.
If all he really wants to go to Mars EVs and solar are going to be invaluable. Could be as simple as that or maybe there's something deeper behind it.
Mars is a phallacy, geologically dead. Even "terraforming" has its flaws. Everything would have to be underground due to no magnetosphere
Doesn't change the need for power which could be easily gained with solar panels on the surface and EVs for transport underground.
Regardless, just a possibility. Musk could very simply just be interested in pushing the NWO agenda.
