Here is my theory on Huma. I think she was caught / was turned long before her husband. They needed a way to introduce the evidence without alerting anyone that she was spilling the beans. So they got her to sync her emails with her husbands, and then it was all convenient.

I agree^ also wonder if she could 'know where the bodies are buried' since she's from Saudi Arabia, and understands language/culture. thinking of 'bloody wonderland' amongst other things.
