Discussing the potential for this or that candidate to win, their platforms & stances, polling, etc. - that's politics. Discussing the fact that our God given rights are under assault by tyrants who seek to disarm us is just basic survival instinct. That's not politics, that's a public service message as far as I'm concerned. People need to be aware of things that affect their lives. If you start talking about a hurricane that's about to wipe out your neighborhood and change life as you know it, that's not politics either.
