Facebook will shut down its facial recognition system this month and delete more than one billion users' face scan data, the company said Tuesday. It cited societal concerns about facial recognition technology as the reason.

I reckon Facebook is under white hat management.

Unfortunately, they've probably already sold the facial recognition data.
