Do I have an argument here? How can there be "informed* consent if information about the ingredients is obfuscated?

This goes back a ways. I remember a man was told to get a flu shot in doc's office. He said he wanted to see the insert that lists ingredients and possible side effects. First nurse said she threw it out when she got his syringe ready (lie, she could have just picked it back out of the trash can). He said to get me one out of another package and she said she would AFTER the shot. He said hell no.
This was a few years ago even back then we were cautious about shots.
