You can still talk to them, they are always with you and will hear you. And if you look for the signs, they may even answer you or send you a message, you just have to notice them when they are revealed to you. It could be a certain smell/scent that reminds you of a person, or a song. Just talk like as if they were standing in front of you, it may also help your heart heal. I am truly sorry for your loss.
