I thought of a response to something like that on the way to a Safeway store I hadn't been since July 2020-the maskaholics were more plentiful..

Anyhoo, I would say I have NEVER followed the "protocols" of washing hands, except when they were dirty; touched my nose when it itched; when, on very rare occasions I 'must' wear a mask, I touch it often.. I am 76 "at risk" and never been healthier except for type 2 diabetes (presumed to have been caused by Agent Orange exposure)... To the Karens I would ask: "care to explain this health I have??"
