Except for effeminate men, most men don’t like to think of themselves as victims. The longer they have been working for the system, paying into the system, and believing the programming from the system, the more victimized they really have been. The younger the man is, the less of himself he has invested into the system, so he is more free to recognize objectively the corruption of the system and reject it. Older men have more bloated, more fragile egos, so they can’t be told anything.
