Gravity is measured by the acceleration that it gives to freely falling objects. At Earth's surface the acceleration of gravity is about 9.8 metres (32 feet) per second per second, linear. This is like watching Durham report unfolding, we're in a long free fall. The left/DS seems to be a=e^k*t aka exponential acceleration. C'mon Durham, do something (more things, faster, they're now coming for our kids!)
