Forgive the reference in the bottom right graphic to the “Lugar Center” as that is in the country of Georgia. The virus is however kept in Atlanta.

However, The Lugar Research Center came to the public's attention in 2017, when Russian authorities repeatedly alleged that the center was engaged in biological weapons development for the United States.
