It is not the worst. It is just a matter of appropriation, giving it a new definition and meaning, especially after 1897 ( Herzl's zionism)

There is nothing nefarious in a geometrical shape in and of itself. The idea of two counter charged elements is very basic.

Dark vs light, order vs chaos, female vs male, yin/yang, a duality brought together in an abstract position.
