I took out fluff and details but this the gist of one I know has worked: Being a Christian with beliefs based firmly in the Bible, I find this vaccine to be out of line with my sincerely held faith. After much prayer, I am sure God has showed me the answer to this directive. Being a nurse is really helping to do the Lord’s work. When I learned that each of these injections has either used aborted fetal cells lines in the development of the shot or used aborted fetal cell lines in testing for efficacy, I was deeply saddened both as a nurse and a Christian. In my faith, we are taught Exodus very early on. Exodus 20:13 “Thou Shalt Not Kill.” Abortion is murder in my eyes. God is specific in his despise of those who do harm to the innocent. Matthew 18:6 “But whosoever shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.” To participate in this injection would make me complicit with abortion. As a Christian this is a sin. I will do nothing to violate my conscience or jeopardize my relationship with God. Every day is rewarding. It is my faith in my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ that gives me the grace I need to do this incredible work. I trust in His promises above all others. Psalm 91:9-10 “If you say, ‘The Lord is my refuge,’ and you make the Most High your dwelling, no harm will overtake you, no disaster will come near your tent.” I understand that my religious rights, religious beliefs, and my right to privacy are guaranteed and protected by the First Amendment of the United States Constitution, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, and Section 3, Article VIII of the Ohio Bill of Rights. I appreciate your understanding in this matter.
Very well said! My sister is also a nurse and facing the very same thing.
