It does not look like an "inhabited" kitchen, it's too pristine. Either a photo-op, or some kind of a guesthouse. Pirate - someone who swims in waters (information) and steals from other ships, that traverse water (information). Skeleton pirate - ghost (spook) pirate? Relation to flying dutchman? Flying dutchman crew was destined to sail the seas forever.
You know they have a housekeeper, a maid, and a nanny, right?
Where are they supposed to prepare meals, since it looks like the entire, closest to the oven and stove, workspace is covered in pumpkins and candles? LOL
