We got on the discussion of the vaxx, and they (husband and wife) told us that they just got their booster shots this week. They asked if we were vaxxed, and politely I said no, and that we’re going to rely on our God-given immune system, with vitamin supplementation to protect us. Immediately the conversation changed, and then of course, the following statements and charges began:
-
“don’t you care about the health and well-being of others?
-
“It’s the most researched and studied vaccine in the history of medicines”
-
“It’s safe and effective”
I realized quite quickly that my neighbors, as sweet and caring as anyone could ask for, have been thoroughly brainwashed. I finally told them “I disagree with your statements, and I’m not going to discuss anything further, because I already know that I’ll be considered a conspiracy theorist. I respect both of you and your decision - as much as I disagree with it…I’m not here to tell you that you’re wrong - I’m here to enjoy our time together as friends.”
Those words really seemed to diffuse the situation. They had one other thing to say, as I told them that I’ll likely be losing my job next month due to the mandates. They were astonished that I would rather lose my great paying job at a Fortune 500 company, rather than get the clot shot. Regardless, we moved on with our night and had a great time together.
I’m beyond trying to help people with avoiding these shots. Sometimes it’s better to simply agree to disagree and keep your friendships. Just thought I’d share my recent experience with my frens 🐸
You're correct. As a county social worker, I can tell you 90% of my clients are anti-jab mostly because they don't have cable to get any news which prevents them from being brainwashed. The vast majority know plenty about the failing efficacy, the side effects and deaths and won't go near it. It's amazing how informed they are and how intelligently they can discuss it, unlike my liberal loon colleagues.
