Define demonic. The devel wants you to think all devilish shit looks like that Hollywood set. The real shit doesn't look like that at all. It looks like your preacher, mayor, housewife, business owner etc. When people open their minds they end up screwed up by devil spirits. In fact the word demon was a deliberate attempt to water down the word devil. Bible clearly states we don't wrestle against flesh and blood. That physical representation cause people to miss the sedate looking shot that's the real problem.
