Remember the Geraldo Rivera interview with soldiers in Afghanistan, tasked with actually guarding the poppy fields from the taliban who wanted to destroy them?

What an utter clusterfuck that the economics of drug farmers in some remote country took priority over the lives of not just US citizens, but people all over the world who heroin and all the other narco derivatives would fuck over.
