The stock market is not the economy. Gasoline/energy factors into the price of nearly every single product one buys. Prices are up, portions are down. Shit piled up on docks/off shore that will never be delivered.

Ha! Stock market is not economy, what are you talking about. It's probably the most used indicator of all times! Have you ever heard of the great depression or maybe 2008 housing crash.
