My 7yo 2nd grade son might very well have the Coof. Several kids in his class tested positive and he’s got a gnarly cough and cold symptoms for the past several days. Anyway kid’s cold meds aren’t doing much to help and I have some Iver that I ordered from frontline docs a few months back. Anyone know if it’s fully safe for kids to take? And if so, dosage? Take with zinc etc? Thanks very much!
Edit: thanks everyone for your replies. If he’s still bad tomorrow I’ll start him on Iver.
Example: Take a person's total weight (100lb) divided by 2 = 50 Then subtract 10% = 45kg's .4mg's x 45kg = 18mg of Ivermectin This for pills, number depends on the strength of the pill. Obviously 3mg pill = 6 tablets for 24 hours. Some say .6mg's if not caught in time but my FL doc didn't say that for me. My cough was loose in less than 24 hours. I never had the fatigue, loss of smell or taste and no fever so probably only a doozy of a chest cold but it still worked amazingly. I'd check for yourself to be safe, however.
