It gets even worse. You know those wildlife photographers? They're not allowed to do anything to the animal if it comes close and starts cuddling (like seals and such), because that would make the animals think cuddles is to be expected from humans.
Now, extrapolate this to the CNN pieces of shit that did nothing about the child trafficking event occurring right before their eyes? They literally thought of that family as cattle.
