With all this talk about Big Bird lately, I want to remind everyone of the time that the left accused presidential candidate Mitt Romney of hating Big Bird because he said he'd pull the subsidy to PBS. Then like six months later Sesame Street was acquired by HBO and nobody seemed to care, thus demonstrating two things. First, phony outrage directed at Republicans. Second, PBS shows clearly don't need a taxpayer subsidy.
