OK, so we learn that Alec says he was practicing his drawing technique, and while doing so accidentally pulled the trigger of a loaded gun that he claims he thought was unloaded, killing one person and injuring a second person.
Questions I have:
We learn that gun safety rules on set demand that an actor cannot even handle a gun unless the Armorer is present at all times to monitor and secure the weapon.
The Armorer was not present, nor scheduled to be, so why did Alec break the rules?
Why did he point the gun at a living person, loaded or unloaded, against gun safety rules?
Why did Alec pull the trigger when the scene did not call for it?
