I find that this is where a personal inventory and some prayer comes in handy. To realize that there are things you don't know, and to know that is a possibility and being able to critically think with incomplete information and to be prepared to take new info into account. To entertain a question without believing it.

It's tough. You have to be prepared to be wrong and to adjust accordingly while not being led astray or indulging in confirmation bias or bullshit tangents. It is the hardest thing in the world and it is something most people would rather not wrestle with. That is when it is most important to pray I truly believe that one day it will be scientifically proven that when we all pray and tap into the ether it is the most powerful force in existence.
