I just looked at the street light across the street from me. It has the green cylindrical thingy on the top. Different numbers, no L17 A. One thing I can say is that the led street lights don't light up the street anywhere near as good as the old lights, especially when it's raining/wet. The other night I was out driving in a very light rain and it was extremely difficult to see the lines on the road. There is a different type of glare that these lights produce, the diffusion of light is very different from the old lights. In other words, they suck.
