That, sir, is a K-Bar knife, and one that is still in good shape. A testament to American-made products. These were made under contract for the military, mostly Navy and Marines. As a former jarhead, I have a couple of these...one dating back to WWII and one to the Vietnam era. I foresee a time coming when one of them will be my daily carry companion, alongside a nice old 1911 Colt.
