Hopefully the same arguments will be heard in the USA. This is why I was fired, for not telling them my status and not complying.
Talk is, the companies will owe the employees they put on unpaid leave and/or fired, backpay, as well as severence pay if they will not be returning. Severence pay will vary dependant on length of service and age.
Should include, pain and suffering, humiliation, loss of standing , insurance and benefits lost, all sorts of things.
The severance will include everything applicable to the person.
