That book collection sounds amazing, some cracking stuff there. I haven't managed to expand anywhere near as much as I hoped, though I'll be looking for pre-1930 books from now on. I've got a few, and another medical book from quite early called 'Modern Surgery and its Making' by C.W.Saleeby, author also of 'Parenthood and Race Culture; An Outline of Eugenics. So that'll be interesting to have a little look-see, it mentions Lister, Florence Nightingale and Louis Pasteur in the contents.
There were some great cartoons about vaxxing back in the 19th century, they knew stuff. Big time. Check this one out.
Where to start- babies being fed to a chimeric beast, toothed, horned and tailed (also scabbed and labelled with various diseases). By other men also horned and tailed (one red of complexion). Defecated and shoveled onto a waiting cart to take them past an obelisk to a fiery temple on a hill. I'm guessing the anti-vaxers are the ones stood with shield (armour of God) in the background.
My problem with books is, there are several used bookstores around where I live that sell books at a very reasonable cost. You never know what you're going to find. Every now and then you find some real gems. I'm a sucker for a good book.
I worked with a guy once who was big into books and magazines, too. He lived with his elderly mother, but bought a house to keep his library in. I'm almost to that point. Kek!
That cartoon is pretty horrific when you start studying it. Looks like they're taking the babies up the hill to sacrifice to Molloch in the temple. Note the dark clouds surrounding the temple. It pretty much sums up what's going on today.
Amazing how eras change but the governing thoughts between us and the DS remain the same. Yeah, the cartoon is pretty grim, there's many more lampooning (or more accurately eviscerating) the 'psy-entists' of their day.
I'd love a house for books, though to be fair I have room to expand, just pretty early (I hope) on a career of collecting. Bookshops are fantastic, but I've found it very possible to look up to a smiling assistant who informs you everyone else (incl the boss) went home half an hour ago.
Is what I think is happening, happening? I'd appreciate your thoughts, to be honest I've looked at so many doubles in the last 24 hours all faces now look the same.

LOL! Now I find this, alleging the story is a hoax:

So, who's checking the fact checkers???
Hi Fren, I have been watching comms for the last couple of days.
Will Smith has had stories run about taking ayahuasca after splitting with Jada.

Ayahuasca is DMT, which according to scientists 'feels like dying'.

And now in a new appearance, he baffles viewers with a different look:

Now in the last 12 hours or so they've started headlines the same on Mike Tyson:

Apparently, it IS a hoax -- no wonder neither of us had heard of it before. Kek!
