The bible talks about submitting to your husband. I'm a wife. It's not in there to subject us, it's in there to protect us. I am very bold about speaking my mind, but when my husband feels strongly about something I take it very seriously. Your wife owes you an apology. She kept you from doing your job by her prideful ignorance, and now you're both in a mess. If she wants your care she needs to not brush this off. I hope she's mature enough to do so.
