That is one scenario, but when you consider that the students who leave have involved parents it is very likely that when those students leave, the behavior and academics will plunge downward. The job of a teacher may actually be more difficult--more classroom discipline and more students who do not want to learn in the classroom.
I'd much rather have a class of 35 engaged students than a class of 10 behavior and academic challenges.
At our local school in CA, we are having exponentially more behavior problems and far more students who choose to do nothing. We are also seeing more parents tell us they cannot control their kids (this is middle school!).
Government-run schools are in BIG trouble.
I'm happy to see this in Corona. I wonder about the effect of Calvary Chapel Chino Hills and Pastor Jack Hibbs...Patriots there....

No one respects schools anymore - certainly not the students. Not the parents, by far and large. For the most part, the staff does not like or respect the education system. Most superintendents are made of Brandon stew with mono-think in CA.
