Weren't the seven dwarves also super computers? I seem to remember there being some reference to that about a year ago, when all of the server rumors in Germany were going around.

Yes. There was an article in the Chicago Tribune entitled Spy vs. Spy. It's since been 404'd, Here's an exerpt: “Global intelligence computer databases deep inside Central Intelligence Agency headquarters here are named Doc, Dopey, Grumpy, Sleepy, Happy, Bashful and Sneezy? Yes, the CIA has indeed named its huge computers after the Seven Dwarfs — and for all I know has a slinky blond in its cloak-and-dagger Directorate of Operations code-named Snow White.”

Yup. Sounds like cute names until you find out there's a deeper symbology behind it in this situation.
Putting names to computers, robots, and some pieces of equipment is quite common in the automation world. There's no dark symbology behind it.
