Blood type is only one factor and it’s not a 100% reliable indicator, just like everything else in medicine and life.

I will say I was starting hyperbaric oxygen therapy the week before I came down with symptoms; I had to pause until the pneumonia got better. HBOT likely kept it from getting too bad too quickly in my case.
