Someone on GAW introduced me to the "Ford Play" yesterday. Nixon's VP was originally Spiro Agnew. Agnew resigned in 1973 over an income tax scandal and was replaced by Gerald Ford. Less than a year later, Nixon resigned and Ford became POTUS without ever receiving a vote. This is something to keep in mind.
edit: There is potentially a Constitutional loophole that could even allow for Obama himself to become POTUS for a third term. The 22nd amendment prohibits anyone from being "ELECTED" to POTUS more than twice, but as you can see from the Ford Play above, Ford was never elected to POTUS at all. Something else to keep in mind.
edit 2: since I got stickied (Thanks), I want to add that I'm not making a prediction here at all. Even if research on this idea checks out, I would still say that it's only one of many possible DS plans. Not all plans get used. Not all plans work out. Just something to keep in mind.
Yeah, he did get back to the WH on the 5th and already started up again with EOs. There was that unusual salute back to the chopper too...
I'm likely just looking too deeply into the 25th possibilities, but diving deeper into all of this has revealed a ton of massive loopholes in our Constitution and fed statutory law!
That empty 21 day span between EOs just seems odd... there is only 1 Q drop specifically mentioning 21 days https://qposts.online/post/2903
Perhaps Trump needed to secretly step aside so that Pence could be the guy to get all of the dirty work done in the background? Miller's comments about Pence re: Space Force and all of the historic work they've done, battles they've fought etc. makes no sense as the VP has absolutely 0 military authority as he's not in the military chain of command... nothing... completely absent. For Pence to have this alluded level of influence, he'd really need to be the commander-in-chief (POTUS). If Pence was acting POTUS, it would shield Trump from any conflict of interest accusations that he was "stealing" the election, pressuring governors or electors etc to benefit himself.
Interestingly, only the VP can temporarily act as POTUS and then resume their office as VP. If the Speaker or PPT does become acting POTUS, they must resign not only their title, but also their office. The statute doesn't say anything explicitly as far as the Cabinet positions are concerned.
